                                          Unit 31: Social Action and Community Media Documentary- Dark Tourist; Japan What is this Documentary about? What is it's purpose? In this documentary series, journalist David Farrier travels the world in search for the darkest and most disturbing tourist spots. In this particular episode, David travels to Japan where he visits a number of strange and creepy locations. These places include a radioactive ghost-town, which was hit by both an earthquake and tsunami in 2011, a hotel where the staff are robots and the notorious Aokigahara Forest, also known as 'the suicide forest'. The purpose of this documentary is to act as both an insight into the darker parts of the world which are available to tourists, as well as question the ethicality of these twisted tourist trips. TASK 4 EVALUATION What do you think your audiences expectations of your film's genre are before they watch your film? What are they expecting to see? From my poster and storyboard, my audience will expect a comic-book, superhero film involving SciFi and action. This is a hugely popular genre at the moment thanks to Disney's Marvel Cinematic Universe and therefore will be immediately recognisable by a wide audience. The audience will also recognise the characters as they have been iconic fictional characters for over six decades and have appeared in multiple other films/TV shows (The Dark Knight Trilogy/Superman/The Flash TV series) What do you want the emotional response of the audience. to your film be? My aim for this movie is to deliver a number of emotional responses from the audience in order to create a fun, thrilling movie. TASK 2: THE PLAN

TASK TWO: THE PLAN Outline: Title: Justice League: Flashpoint Tagline: Your future catches up with you Synopsis: This film with focus on the three main characters of the Justice League, The Flash, Batman and Superman. However The Flash will take the role of the main character as he has been very underutilised in previous films. The film will start of in the middle of a fight between The Flash and his greatest enemy, Eobard Thawne. Thawne seems to have the upper hand and activates a cataclysmic event which destroys the city. This is when The Flash travels through time to save the city, however once the damage is reversed, he is no where to be seen. The Flash has caused himself to enter a parallel universe where everything has changed. In this universe Bruce Wayne was murdered instead of his parents and Clark Kent is no where to be seen, there is also a war between Wonder Woman's Amazon's and Aquaman's Atlantian's which threatens the safety of this new univer

TASK 3: THE PROPOSAL

PROPOSAL OF MY FILM How does my poster target my audience? -Shows clearly three most popular and iconic superhero's. Creates interest to teenage audiences and anyone interested in popular culture and comic readers. - Creates a sense of mystery with the destroyed city in the foreground and The Flash looking distressed. -Three main stars presented clearly in the poster. Colour and lighting creates a sense of action and drama, dark colours with lighting and the galaxy in the background. How to encourage a fandom and repeat viewings? -Website with character biographies, interviews with stars, games and news on the movie and any future sequels. -Massive amounts of advertisement continuing after its release to encourage non fans to watch as well as convince fans to rewatch it again.  Would run in cinemas for a maximum of three months, DVD and Blu-Ray release by a few months later. -Social media pages on Facebook, Instagram etc. What forms of advertisements
